CHIEF OFFICERS
ROB REARDON
Fire Chief/Paramedic
Rob Reardon was appointed a career firefighter on August 28, 2002. Having also served as Captain, and Deputy Chief, he was appointed Chief of Department on July 15, 2022. Chief Reardon also serves as the Public Information Officer as well as a communication specialist on the Plymouth County Technical Rescue Team. Chief Reardon holds a bachelor’s degree in Fire Science and a bachelor’s degree in communications. Chief Reardon is a graduate of the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program, and the University of Massachusetts Boston, Edward J. Collins Jr. Center for Public Management Chief Fire Officer Program.
BRIAN MONAHAN
Deputy Fire Chief/EMT
Brian Monahan was appointed a career firefighter on March 13, 2000. Having also served as Captain, he was promoted to Deputy Chief on July 15, 2022. Deputy Chief Monahan is also a member of the Plymouth County Fire Chiefs Association, Major Operations Support Team. Deputy Monahan holds an associate’s degree in Fire Science and a bachelor’s degree in Fire Administration. Deputy Chief Monahan is a graduate of the National Fire Academy’s Executive Fire Officer Program, and the University of Massachusetts Boston, Edward J. Collins Jr. Center for Public Management Chief Fire Officer Program.

CAPTAINS
PJ HUSSEY
Fire Captain/Paramedic
PJ Hussey was appointed a career firefighter on May 8, 1995. He was promoted to captain on March 31, 2014. Captain Hussey serves as the shift commander of shift 1.
ALEX MERRY
Fire Captain/Paramedic
Alex Merry was appointed a call firefighter on September 10, 2001, and a career firefighter on January 3, 2005. He was promoted to captain on July 26, 2019. He serves as the administrative captain, the department's training, and technical rescue coordinator. Captain Merry is also the director of the Plymouth County Technical Rescue Team, and a member of FEMA USAR MATF-1.

JACK AHERN
Fire Captain/Paramedic
Jack Ahern was appointed a call firefighter on October 6, 2009, and a career firefighter on August 15, 2011. He was promoted to captain on September 16, 2019. He serves as shift commander of shift 2 and the dive coordinator. Captain Ahern and as a Rescue/Dive Specialist on the Plymouth County Technical Rescue Team.
